About us

It all began with a simple idea fueled by a deep passion. As a small but growing movement,  we pride ourselves on our singleness of purpose. We really, really, really do not like ZOOM meetings and everything we do reflects our commitment to removing video conferencing from AA meetings and keeping our members voluntary contributions out of the hands of giant tech companies.

We also encourage our members to consider the link between our General Service Office and the wealthy technology companies who have infilltrated  Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, threatening the safety and anonymity of our members.

"I was spiraling into ZOOM induced madness until I found the message at Simply Tradition 11. Now I just wear a tin foil hat and yell about it."

Anonymous ZOOM Hater #1

"Before Simply Tradition 11, I was lost in a sea of virtual backgrounds and awkward pauses. Now, I fight the good fight against the tyranny of ZOOM."

Anonymous Conspiricy Theorist #2

"The importance of anonymity in Alcoholics Anonymous cannot be overstated. Simply Tradition 11 helps protect that. And they hate ZOOM."

Anonymous Recovering Zoomaholic #3

"I used to think ZOOM meetings were a necessary evil. Now I realize they're just evil. Simply Tradition 11 opened my eyes!"
